Placement Test
Saint Thomas More Academy administers a High School Placement Test to eighth grade students who want to be considered for admission to the school. This is a standardized test given through Scholastic Testing Service. The test is administered on the first Saturday of December on campus. In addition to course placement, merit based scholarships are awarded based on the results of this test. Students who apply to Saint Thomas More after the test date will be given an in-house placement test.
Applications for the test are available in October by contacting the Admissions Office. They may also be picked up at the Open House in October. Children who attend Catholic elementary schools in the Diocese of Wilmington will automatically receive applications through their eighth grade teachers.
